– engineering studies at WSTI:
We offer our students an innovative curriculum adapted to the realities of the labor market, which is the result of the school's strict specialization in computer science. The program was constructed based on the recommendations of the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI), also taking into account the effects of cooperation with ICT companies and the broadly understood advertising and media market.
WSTI is one of the best-equipped institutes with the latest computer equipment and specialized software in Silesia. We have, among others a computer graphics studio equipped with 30 Apple iMac MC812PL/A computers and Wacom graphics tablets, and a computer lab with 30 high-performance graphics stations. Computer has installed the current software (e.g. Adobe Master Collection CS 5.5) on them. The university also has a spacious artistic studio of drawing and painting as well as a photography studio fully equipped with multimedia equipment: cameras, camcorders and professional lighting.
The composition of the highly qualified scientific and didactic staff consists of valued research workers and practitioners with extensive industry experience and a partner attitude towards the student. Many WSTI lecturers are professionally active graphic designers and IT specialists, which is why students have the opportunity to cooperate with their future employers during their studies.
